Charles M. Wanjohi Esq., a member of the New York Bar, is a graduate of the University of Nairobi, Kenya, and possesses a Post-Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies from the Kenya School of Law. Charles holds a Bachelors Degree in Law and has been involved in numerous Legal Aid and community empowerment activities. He has been a passionate advocate for civil rights causes and has been specifically involved in efforts to secure fair trial in cases involving disadvantaged people in immigration proceedings.

Charles possesses strong skills in immigration litigation and administrative processing. He has helped many clients in removal proceedings and has noted that immigrants have no choice but to obtain the help of skilled and experienced immigration Attorneys. Charles has dedicated his professional career to helping immigrants chart their way through complex immigration laws and succeed in achieving the American dream.

Charles M. Wanjohi, Esq., originally from Kenya, joined the Matemu Law Office P.C. having observed and experienced firsthand the severe challenges and heavy burdens borne by ordinary immigrants struggling to obtain legal status in the United States. He realized that there exists a shortage of qualified immigration attorneys to guide these immigrants.

In addition to being a team member in the Matemu Law Firm and being fully engaged in the core practice specialties of the firm, Charles is especially interested in deportation defense and asylum applications which form the bulk of his work at the Matemu Law Office.
